Why is Govardhan Puja on Sun 23 Oct in Ipameri?
Govardhan Puja is on Sun 23 Oct: Pratipada touches pratahkala that morning, and no other.
Amavasya until 05:42, inside pratahkala; then Pratipada. Pratipada: 05:42 to 05:31 Mon.
Pratipada ended at 05:31; pratahkala is Dwitiya. Pratipada: 05:42 Sun to 05:31.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC−3). Band: the tithi. Box: Pratahkala. Light strip: day; dark strip: night. Sun: sunrise.
Govardhan Puja is done in pratahkala, the first fifth of the day. Pratipada runs from 05:42 on Sun 23 Oct to 05:31 on Mon 24 Oct, so it touches only Sunday’s pratahkala (05:39–08:10). No text giving Govardhan Puja’s time was found; pratahkala is Tithika’s convention.
