Why is Bhai Dooj on Mon 20 Oct in Sevan?
Bhai Dooj is on Mon 20 Oct: Dwitiya touches aparahna that day, and no other.
Pratipada until 13:50, inside aparahna; then Dwitiya. Dwitiya: 13:50 to 12:23 Tue.
Dwitiya ended at 12:23; aparahna is Tritiya. Dwitiya: 13:50 Mon to 12:23.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+4). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 13:50 on Mon 20 Oct to 12:23 on Tue 21 Oct, so it touches only Monday’s aparahna (13:49–16:01). No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
