Why is Bhai Dooj on Thu 1 Nov in Sevan?
Bhai Dooj is on Thu 1 Nov: Dwitiya holds all of aparahna that day, and no other.
Dwitiya holds all of aparahna, 13:46–15:51. Dwitiya: 07:46 to 09:02 Fri.

One row per day, on one clock (UTC+4). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 07:46 on Thu 1 Nov to 09:02 on Fri 2 Nov, so only Thursday’s aparahna (13:46–15:51) falls within it. No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
