Why is Bhai Dooj on Mon 16 Nov in Codcod?
Bhai Dooj is on Mon 16 Nov: Dwitiya holds all of aparahna that day, and no other.
Dwitiya holds all of aparahna, 12:41–15:01. Dwitiya: 09:36 to 06:27 Tue.
Dwitiya ended at 06:27; aparahna is Tritiya.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+8). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 09:36 on Mon 16 Nov to 06:27 on Tue 17 Nov, so only Monday’s aparahna (12:41–15:01) falls within it. No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
