Why is Dussehra on Sat 5 Oct in Diffa?
Dussehra is on Sat 5 Oct: Dashami touches aparahna that day, and no other.
Navami until 14:23, inside aparahna; then Dashami. Dashami: 14:23 to 13:03 Sun.
Dashami ended at 13:03; aparahna is Ekadashi. Dashami: 14:23 Sat to 13:03.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+1). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
Dussehra’s rites are done in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dashami runs from 14:23 on Sat 5 Oct to 13:03 on Sun 6 Oct, so it touches only Saturday’s aparahna (13:09–15:33).

- Vaishnava
- the Smarta day.
