Why is Dussehra on Mon 23 Oct in Myjava?
Dussehra is on Mon 23 Oct: Dashami touches aparahna that day, and no other.
Navami until 14:15, inside aparahna; then Dashami. Dashami: 14:15 to 11:44 Tue.
Dashami ended at 11:44; aparahna is Ekadashi. Dashami: 14:15 Mon to 11:44.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+2). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
Dussehra’s rites are done in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dashami runs from 14:15 on Mon 23 Oct to 11:44 on Tue 24 Oct, so it touches only Monday’s aparahna (13:36–15:40).

- Vaishnava
- the Smarta day.
