When is Dussehra 2019 in Pāthardi?
Dussehra Aparahna puja muhurat: what time?
Why is Dussehra on Tue 8 Oct in Pāthardi?
By the Nirnayasindhu, Dussehra is on Tue 8 Oct: Dashami touches aparahna on both days, and Shravana in the later aparahna takes it there.
Dashami holds all of aparahna, 13:28–15:50. Dashami: 12:38 to 14:50 Tue.
Dashami holds aparahna only until 14:50; then Ekadashi. Dashami: 12:38 Mon to 14:50.
One row per day, on one clock (IST). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
Dussehra’s rites are done in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dashami touches aparahna on both days, and Shravana falls in aparahna on Tue 8 Oct. The Nirnayasindhu then takes that day: Tue 8 Oct.
