Why is Vasant Panchami on Tue 11 Feb in Pāthardi?
Vasant Panchami is on Tue 11 Feb: Panchami touches purvahna that morning, and no other.
Chaturthi until 07:04, inside purvahna; then Panchami. Panchami: 07:04 to 04:51 Wed.
Panchami ended at 04:51; purvahna is Shashthi. Panchami: 07:04 Tue to 04:51.
One row per day, on one clock (IST). Band: the tithi. Box: Purvahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night. Sun: sunrise.
Saraswati Puja is done in purvahna, the first half of the day. Panchami runs from 07:04 on Tue 11 Feb to 04:51 on Wed 12 Feb, so it touches only Tuesday’s purvahna (06:59–12:43). No text giving Vasant Panchami’s time was found; purvahna is Tithika’s convention.
