Why is Rama Navami on Tue 13 Apr or Wed 14 Apr in Myjava?
Smarta · Rama Navami is on Tue 13 Apr: Navami holds all of madhyahna that day, and no other.
Navami holds all of madhyahna, 11:29–14:12. Navami: 07:54 to 07:02 Wed.
Navami ended at 07:02; madhyahna is Dashami.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+1). Band: the tithi. Box: Madhyahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
Rama’s birth is celebrated at madhyahna, the middle fifth of the day. Navami runs from 07:54 on Tue 13 Apr to 07:02 on Wed 14 Apr, so only Tuesday’s madhyahna (11:29–14:12) falls within it.
Vaishnavas keep Rama Navami on a tithi that Ashtami does not pierce: Navami holds sunrise on Wed 14 Apr, at 06:00. Reading the Vaishnava rule by sunrise is Tithika’s convention.
