Why is Rama Navami on Sat 13 Apr or Sun 14 Apr in Myjava?
Smarta · Rama Navami is on Sat 13 Apr: Navami holds all of madhyahna that day, and no other.
Navami holds all of madhyahna, 11:29–14:12. Navami: 08:11 to 06:05 Sun.
Navami ended at 06:05; madhyahna is Dashami.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+2). Band: the tithi. Box: Madhyahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
Rama’s birth is celebrated at madhyahna, the middle fifth of the day. Navami runs from 08:11 on Sat 13 Apr to 06:05 on Sun 14 Apr, so only Saturday’s madhyahna (11:29–14:12) falls within it.
Vaishnavas keep Rama Navami on a tithi that Ashtami does not pierce: Navami holds sunrise on Sun 14 Apr, at 06:01. Reading the Vaishnava rule by sunrise is Tithika’s convention.
