Why is Pitru Paksha begins on Sun 5 Sep in Myjava?
Pitru Paksha begins is on Sun 5 Sep: Pratipada holds all of aparahna that day, and no other.
Pratipada holds all of aparahna, 13:07–15:46. Pratipada: 05:02 to 01:26 Mon.

The first shraddha of Pitru Paksha is done in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Pratipada runs from 05:02 on Sun 5 Sep to 01:26 on Mon 6 Sep, so only Sunday’s aparahna (13:07–15:46) falls within it. No text giving Pitru Paksha begins’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
