Why is Maha Shivratri on Tue 13 Feb in Sevan?

Maha Shivratri is on Tue 13 Feb: Chaturdashi holds all of nishitha that night, and no other.

Chaturdashi holds all of nishitha, 00:47 Wed–01:40 Wed. Chaturdashi: 21:04 to 23:16 Wed.

Chaturdashi ended at 23:16; nishitha is Amavasya. Chaturdashi: 21:04 Tue to 23:16.

One row per day, on one clock (UTC+4). Band: the tithi. Box: Nishitha. Dark strip: night.

Shiva’s worship centres on nishitha, the midnight muhurta. Chaturdashi runs from 21:04 on Tue 13 Feb to 23:16 on Wed 14 Feb, so only Tuesday night’s nishitha (00:47 Wed–01:40 Wed) falls within it.
