Holika Dahan muhurat: what time?
Holika Dahan muhurat: bhadra puchha, 01:28 Tue–02:38 Tue.
Why is Holika Dahan on Mon 2 Mar in Pāthardi?
Holika Dahan is on Mon 2 Mar, in bhadra’s tail (puchha), 01:28 Tue–02:38 Tue.
Holika Dahan muhurat: bhadra puchha, 01:28 Tue–02:38 Tue.
Purnima holds all of pradosha, 18:34–21:01. Purnima: 17:56 to 17:07 Tue.
Purnima ended at 17:07; pradosha is Pratipada. Purnima: 17:56 Mon to 17:07.
One row per day, on one clock (IST). Band: the tithi. Box: Pradosha. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
Holika is burnt in pradosha, the 3 muhurtas after sunset, outside bhadra. Purnima runs from 17:56 on Mon 2 Mar to 17:07 on Tue 3 Mar, so only Monday’s pradosha (18:34–21:01) falls within it. Bhadra lasts until 05:28 Tue, past nishitha, so the Dharmasindhu allows its tail, the puchha. Tithika places the puchha at 01:28 Tue–02:38 Tue, scaled from its ghatis: Tithika’s convention.
