When is Holika Dahan 2023 in Diffa?
Holika Dahan muhurat: what time?
Holika Dahan muhurat: bhadra puchha, 20:12–21:30.
Why is Holika Dahan on Mon 6 Mar in Diffa?
Holika Dahan is on Mon 6 Mar, in bhadra’s tail (puchha), 20:12–21:30.
Holika Dahan muhurat: bhadra puchha, 20:12–21:30.
Purnima holds all of pradosha, 18:18–20:43. Purnima: 11:47 to 13:40 Tue.
Purnima ended at 13:40; pradosha is Pratipada.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+1). Band: the tithi. Box: Pradosha. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
Holika is burnt in pradosha, the 3 muhurtas after sunset, outside bhadra. Purnima runs from 11:47 on Mon 6 Mar to 13:40 on Tue 7 Mar, so only Monday’s pradosha (18:18–20:43) falls within it. Bhadra lasts until 00:46 Tue, past nishitha, so the Dharmasindhu allows its tail, the puchha. Tithika places the puchha at 20:12–21:30, scaled from its ghatis: Tithika’s convention.
