Holika Dahan muhurat: bhadra puchha, 23:41–00:53 Sun.
Why is Holika Dahan on Sat 11 Mar in Diffa?
Holika Dahan is on Sat 11 Mar, in bhadra’s tail (puchha), 23:41–00:53 Sun.
Holika Dahan muhurat: bhadra puchha, 23:41–00:53 Sun.
Purnima holds all of pradosha, 18:19–20:43. Purnima: 15:53 to 15:53 Sun.
Purnima ended at 15:53; pradosha is Pratipada.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+1). Band: the tithi. Box: Pradosha. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
Holika is burnt in pradosha, the 3 muhurtas after sunset, outside bhadra. Purnima runs from 15:53 on Sat 11 Mar to 15:53 on Sun 12 Mar, so only Saturday’s pradosha (18:19–20:43) falls within it. Bhadra lasts until 03:50 Sun, past nishitha, so the Dharmasindhu allows its tail, the puchha. Tithika places the puchha at 23:41–00:53 Sun, scaled from its ghatis: Tithika’s convention.
