Ekadashi ended at 21:03 Wed; arunodaya is Dwadashi.

Breaking the fast
Smarta · Vaishnava · Thu 18 Jul, 05:59–18:58 (sunset, Tithika’s convention)
Parana is on Dwadashi, after its first quarter (harivasara) and before it ends. Dwadashi runs from 21:03 on Wed 17 Jul to 20:44 on Thu 18 Jul; harivasara ends at 02:58. So parana runs from sunrise on Thu 18 Jul, 05:59. Parana is a day act, so Tithika ends the window at sunset, 18:58: Tithika’s convention. Dwadashi runs past midday: the Dharmasindhu reports that many keep parana to the first 3 muhurtas after sunrise, until 08:34.
