Why is Bhai Dooj on Sun 2 Nov in Ipameri?
Bhai Dooj is on Sun 2 Nov: Dwitiya holds all of aparahna that day, and no other.
Aparahna is Pratipada; Dwitiya begins at 21:14.
Dwitiya holds all of aparahna, 13:13–15:46. Dwitiya: 21:14 Sat to 18:50.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC−3). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 21:14 on Sat 1 Nov to 18:50 on Sun 2 Nov, so only Sunday’s aparahna (13:13–15:46) falls within it. No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
