Why is Bhai Dooj on Tue 10 Nov in Tijuana?
Bhai Dooj is on Tue 10 Nov: Dwitiya holds all of aparahna that day, and no other.
Aparahna is Pratipada; Dwitiya begins at 00:30 Tue.
Dwitiya holds all of aparahna, 12:35–14:42. Dwitiya: 00:30 to 02:23 Wed.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC−8). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 00:30 on Tue 10 Nov to 02:23 on Wed 11 Nov, so only Tuesday’s aparahna (12:35–14:42) falls within it. No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
