Why is Bhai Dooj on Tue 10 Nov in Recife?
Bhai Dooj is on Tue 10 Nov: Dwitiya holds all of aparahna that day, and no other.
Dwitiya holds all of aparahna, 12:18–14:47. Dwitiya: 05:30 to 07:23 Wed.
Dwitiya ended at 07:23; aparahna is Tritiya.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC−3). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 05:30 on Tue 10 Nov to 07:23 on Wed 11 Nov, so only Tuesday’s aparahna (12:18–14:47) falls within it. No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
