Why is Bhai Dooj on Sat 6 Nov in Sofia?
Bhai Dooj is on Sat 6 Nov: Dwitiya holds all of aparahna that day, and no other.
Aparahna is Pratipada; Dwitiya begins at 19:45.
Dwitiya holds all of aparahna, 13:10–15:12. Dwitiya: 19:45 Fri to 16:14.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+2). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 19:45 on Fri 5 Nov to 16:14 on Sat 6 Nov, so only Saturday’s aparahna (13:10–15:12) falls within it. No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
