Why is Bhai Dooj on Sat 6 Nov in Myjava?
Bhai Dooj is on Sat 6 Nov: Dwitiya holds all of aparahna that day, and no other.
Aparahna is Pratipada; Dwitiya begins at 18:45.
Dwitiya holds all of aparahna, 12:30–14:26. Dwitiya: 18:45 Fri to 15:14.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+1). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 18:45 on Fri 5 Nov to 15:14 on Sat 6 Nov, so only Saturday’s aparahna (12:30–14:26) falls within it. No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
