Why is Bhai Dooj on Fri 5 Nov in Ipameri?
Bhai Dooj is on Fri 5 Nov: Dwitiya touches aparahna that day, and no other.
Pratipada until 14:45, inside aparahna; then Dwitiya. Dwitiya: 14:45 to 11:14 Sat.
Dwitiya ended at 11:14; aparahna is Tritiya. Dwitiya: 14:45 Fri to 11:14.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC−3). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 14:45 on Fri 5 Nov to 11:14 on Sat 6 Nov, so it touches only Friday’s aparahna (13:13–15:47). No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
The rule
