Why is Bhai Dooj on Fri 9 Nov in Codcod?
Bhai Dooj is on Fri 9 Nov: Dwitiya holds all of aparahna that day, and no other.
Aparahna is Pratipada; Dwitiya begins at 23:37.
Dwitiya holds all of aparahna, 12:41–15:01. Dwitiya: 23:37 Thu to 23:50.
One row per day, on one clock (UTC+8). Band: the tithi. Box: Aparahna. Light strip: day; dark strip: night.
The tilak is applied in aparahna, the fourth fifth of the day. Dwitiya runs from 23:37 on Thu 8 Nov to 23:50 on Fri 9 Nov, so only Friday’s aparahna (12:41–15:01) falls within it. No text giving Bhai Dooj’s time was found; aparahna is Tithika’s convention.
